Nissan X Trail prize
Please read the following terms and conditions that relate to your entry and to the prizes offered:
This promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Nissan Motor (GB) Limited or its affiliated companies, their relatives, agents or anyone professionally connected with or employed by or in any way connected with a company sponsoring or endorsing this promotion, or their relatives.
No purchase is necessary. To enter this promotion, entrants must complete the required information on the Adventure Film Festival Website at www.adventurefest.co.uk/ or the Warren Miller website at www.warrenmiller.co.uk.
The closing date for receipt of entries is midnight on 31st December 2011. An independent person will randomly pick one winning entrant from the pool of all eligible entries on or before 10th Jan 2012. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the draw date by telephone. To claim the prize, the winner may be required to supply proof of age and valid driving licence and insurance.
If the Promoter cannot contact the chosen winner for any reason within 28 days of the draw date by using the contact details supplied on the winner’s entry form, or if the winner has provided inaccurate or incomplete contact details or if the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that an entrant has contravened any of these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining correct and eligible entries.
There shall be one winner who will receive a prize of one brand new Nissan XTrail registered in the winner’s name. For information on the vehicle, go to www.nissan.co.uk. The prize includes Government Vehicle Excise Duty, number plates, 6 months’ road tax and Nissan’s standard 3 year warranty. The winner is responsible for insurance, fuel, running and maintenance costs of the vehicle and for ensuring that they have a valid driver’s licence. Any items that are not expressly stated to be included in the prize are excluded and shall be at the prize winner’s cost. The prize does not include delivery. The winner shall be responsible for arranging delivery of the vehicle and for any associated costs. Risk passes on delivery. If the winner does not take possession of the vehicle within 3 months of being notified of winning the prize, the Promoter shall at its sole discretion be entitled to terminate this promotion and not award the prize or to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining correct and eligible entries.
The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this promotion in wholly exceptional circumstances outside its control.
The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
By entering this draw, all entrants will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the accompanying promotional material.
The winner may be required to participate in unpaid, reasonable publicity. relating to or in connection with this prize draw.
The Promoter shall be entitled (but not obliged) to use the name, biography, likeness, signature, sound recording, photographs and film of the winner relating to or in connection with this prize draw for any advertising, publicity or editorial purposes in any media throughout the world and the winner irrevocably consents to any such use.
The winner’s name may be obtained by sending a SAE to: AFF/Warren Miller Nissan Promotion, Data Controller, c/o Black Diamond, 15 Bedford St, London, WC2E 9HE, within four weeks after the closing date.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize draw may appear in other promotional materials.
This promotion and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any claim or matter arising under or in connection with this promotion or these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

The draw is only open to UK residents over 18 years of age but not employees of Canada’s West, Salomon, National Geographic Channel or their families, their agents or anyone connected with the draw.

Only one entry per person allowed. Responsibility cannot be accepted for lost or mislaid entries.
There are 7 prizes to be won, the first three names drawn will win an iPad 2 with Wi-Fi 16GB – Black. The next 3 names drawn will win one of three Salomon backpacks. The last name to be drawn will win a selection of National Geographic books. If each case, the winner will be asked to supply their postal address and the promoter will pay for postage of the prize to the winner.
The promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the above prizes for prizes of an equal or greater value without prior notification.
