Chimæra is a utopia – in this case, the skier’s utopia. Mythologically-speaking it is a fusion of animal forms that has its origins in ancient Greece. Here, it is a personification of winter, the fusion of elements coming together to create the perfect skiing heaven.

Filmed in a variety of locations from Canada to California, ‘Chimæra’ takes you from areas of the deepest, purest champagne powder to the most epic jump spots. From dusk til dawn the skier hits the slopes, elegantly gliding down the mountainside. At night it doesn’t end – he dreams of the snow.

Slowing down reality and perception, this film brings you closer to the beauty of the snowy landscape. Watching this film, you can feel the freedom and adventure that the sport brings with it. When you see the skier twisting and turning, both on and off piste, you’ll be itching to get out on the slopes. Winter is coming.
