The Adventure Film Festival visits 30 venues across the UK each October showcasing the best in extreme sports and adventure films. Packaged into three different nights, the Adventure Film Festival screenings give audiences the chance to experience big adventure on the big screen.
For a full list of where the Adventure Film Festival will be screening, please visit our cinemas page
For a full list of this year’s Adventure Film Festival films, please visit our films page. The festival is split into different nights where you will be able to see a full list of this year’s films for each night, including synopses and a trailer (where available).
Your ticket buys you a seat for an entire Adventure Film Festival night, so you will see all those films that are listed for the particular night that you purchase tickets for.
Unfortunately, some venues and locations may change from year to year as the cinemas do not have space available to accommodate us. Existing film releases and other events programmes may sometimes mean we are unable to visit the venues that we have been to in the past. Sadly, we are unable to visit every area of the country but each year we hope to visit a good range of regions across the UK.
You can either head to the tickets page, where you can select your cinema and see what tickets are available, or check out what's on at the different nights on the films page and buy tickets for the night you like.
Note that once you click "buy tickets", you'll be taken to a system on Eventbrite to go through the purchase process.
Some of the Adventure Film Festival venues sell tickets on our behalf via their own cinema box office. Our website should redirect you straight to the booking page for those screenings where this applies. If you find that you are being redirected to the incorrect part of the cinema’s website, please let us know by emailing us at email@example.com (or via the form on our contact page).
Once you have been redirected to a website outside of adventurefest.co.uk, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites.

Please print it out and take it with you to the event on the night. Please note that without your eticket, you will not be guaranteed entry to the show.

Yes. Provided that there are tickets available, all cinemas will be selling tickets to the Adventure Film Festival on the door. Please note, we cannot guarantee availability on the night.
Start times vary depending on the venue you are visiting. Please check your eticket to see the start time for your screening. Please note that the start time listed is the time the film starts and, as there are limited trailers and commercials at Adventure Film Festival screenings, we recommend you get there on time (better still, 10 minutes before) to ensure you don’t miss any of the main film programme.
Some cinemas may have bar or café facilities available where you will be able to relax or eat and drink before the show. Please see our cinemas page for more details on the cinemas. For all other screenings, we recommend that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the start time to allow ample time to take your seat.
No, all seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis as you head into the cinema screen.
Check out our cinemas page for a list of all the cinemas including their websites, which you can visit for more information on how to get there.
We cannot guarantee that you will be admitted to the cinema without presenting your eticket. If you can get the eticket to appear on your smart phone, the attendants may be able to grant you entrance. For immediate assistance, please notify the cinema manager who will be able to contact a member of Adventure Film Festival staff.
Please email us at email@example.com (or via the form on our contact page) and we will do our best to answer your query. If your question is about one of the cinemas, it may be worth first checking their website (the details are on our cinemas page) or contacting the venue directly.
